About Rio Rancho Punishers Football   The Rio Rancho Punishers  Youth Football Team is a member in good standing with the United Youth Sports league and a member of the Infinity Youth Sports program., The Rio Rancho Punishers was founded in 2010 by Coach Dean Karch who saw a need and an opportunity to bring an affordable, quality, tackle football program to our youth in the Rio Rancho/Albuquerque N.M. area. The founder wanted to create a fun experience for kids that allowed both young boys and girls to learn critical football and Cheerleading skills. Now that Coach Dean has retired Coach Barry Calloway is now moving the Punisher Nation forward with the same founding ideals. The program is open to all kids ages 5 to14. At this time, we have five teams. The Bandits, Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior and Senior divisions. The Punisher organization has turned heads and won several Super bowls in all Divisions this success of this club is attributed to sound non-profit operations, fundraising efforts, effective collaboration with volunteer parents, coaches, player dedication and the commitment to the Rio Rancho Punishers Mission Statement and a consistent desire to improve. Mission The purpose of The Rio Rancho Punishers is to provide the Youth of Rio Rancho, NM and surrounding areas, regardless of race, gender, religion or creed, the opportunity to participate in a controlled athletic competition and to instill: good sportsmanship, value of fair play and good conduct. Also, to bring together youth through their common interest, promote tolerance and to encourage adults to behave in an exemplary manner.
